A 15 year old girl has been seriously injured after a collision with a  car last night in Lancing on the A27

The accident happened at 8.35pm  approaching the Lancing Manor roundabout westbound.

  Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and a local teenage girl in Lancing on Friday (4 March). The 15-year-old is believed to have been crossing the A27 near to the junction with Manor Road at around 8.35pm. She suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital in the air ambulance where she remains in a serious but stable condition. The driver of the grey VW Golf, a 20-year-old man from Worthing, was not injured. Sergeant Clare Kenward said:

“This is a busy stretch of road and I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened to get in touch. “Witnesses can email [email protected] or call 101 quoting Operation Henshaw.”
