It’s a big night for Brighton in the Championship tonight.

They’ll be bidding to move up into the automatic promotion spots when they welcome Sheffield Wednesday to the Amex. The seagulls are 4th in the table on 68 points and have kept 3 clean sheets since their 4-1 loss to Cardiff. Boss, Chris Hughton says that’s the kind of response he was looking for.

We have been a good team this season, and in any good team they expect a response themselves, not only myself but they (players) expect it. We’ve got it and we have been pretty solid since.

A loss for Wednesday would be their 5th game in a row, without a win.  Albion produced a hard fought scoreless draw against Preston at the weekend. Boss Hughton says, a win would be crucial to their hopes of promotion to the Premier League.

I thought it was a fair result at Preston, but of course you want to bounce back from that and get back to winning ways. We are at home and we are up against a team that are very close to us in the Division and it would be a major plus for us to win this one.
