This year you have donated an incredible 4,000 toys to the More Radio Toy Appeal.

These thousands of toys will go to disadvantaged children across Sussex, who may not have got a present this Christmas, who may be spending the festive season in hospital, or may suffer from physical or learning disability.

Children’s services at Worthing Hospital, including:
Bluefin (Children’s inpatients).
Paediatric A&E.
Children’s Day Unit.
Child Development Centre – caring for children with developmental delays and mental health needs.

Safe in Sussex
Refuge accommodation provides a safe place of support for women and children. Experienced staff provide both practical and emotional support to help rebuild a lives free from abuse. Child Support Workers provide one to one play led support to each child.

Guildcare’s The Ashdown Centre
The Ashdown Centre provides a lifeline to children with special needs and their families, and disabilities. While parents get much-needed time to themselves, their child can play, laugh and live life to the full in a caring and supportive environment. Many of the families are on a low income.

Oak Grove College
Oak Grove is a community generic special college maintained by West Sussex County Council, providing special education for students with learning difficulties from Year 7 to Year 14.
