More Radio’s Fame Game // Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are in addition to the standard More Radio T&Cs which can be found here.

Requirements & Guidelines

The competition will begin on Monday 6th March, with the winner announced on Monday 13th March. All activity for our contestants must end at 23:59 on Sunday 12th March. Any activity after this won’t be counted towards your final points tally.

The concept is to make yourself ‘famous’ for a week in the area. You will earn points for every activity you do and challenges you undertake in the effort to become a celebrity. In every photograph / recorded video you must be wearing or holding More Radio merchandise / logo.

The points tally is as below:

A video of a celebrity endorsing your campaign: 200

A photograph with a celebrity: 100

Appearing on the television: 100

Getting your challenge in the newspaper / magazine / online news page: 75

A celebrity tweeting your challenge / retweeting your tweet: 50

For every like, share, reaction, mention or retweet on social media: 1

It’s all about you using your initiative to try and gain as much publicity and attention for yourself and More Radio as possible in order to win the competition.

Involvement

As a contestant for The Fame Game you will be assigned to one of the daytime presenters at More Radio who will call you every day to pre-record a quick chat. This will be catching up with you to see how you’re getting on and helping you promote any activity you’re doing, event you’re hosting etc. Make the most of these calls – they’re an important part of the competition.

 

 

Prize Details

Four tickets to the Isle of Wight Festival 2017, Isle of Wight. More Radio will provide transport to and from the event, including ferry crossing. Accommodation provided will be a four-man tent. You will need to bring clothes and everything else you will need for period of the festival.  Access to and from the site, site rules and terms and conditions pertaining to the festival lies totally with the organisers and not More Radio. The prize winner and group take full responsibility for their behaviour and do not in anyway represent More Radio or any Media Sound Holdings company.

Judges decision will be final with regards to all matters of the competition.
