A 14-year-old boy has been left ‘traumatised’ after he and his friend were assaulted at a skate park in St Leonards on Thursday (May, 4).

The boy and his 15-year-old friend, were attacked by a group of teenagers at the park in Falaise Road at 5.30pm.

The 14-year-old suffered a broken nose, and the older boy sustained some bruising to his face.

Police said nothing was stolen and no weapons were seen.

Investigator Lucy Marshall said:

“The boy who sustained the broken nose has been left traumatised by this event.

“There were other people present including two women who kindly assisted the boys with their injuries.

“We are asking those people, or anyone else who saw what happened, to contact us.”
