Police issue a photo of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a burglary in Seaford.
The burglary was discovered by the homeowners in East Albany Road on July 4.
The break in had occurred during the previous night, with the offender gaining access through an insecure door.
The burglar stole an iPhone5 and a bag containing bank cards, keys and personal items.
The cards were later used to make withdrawal attempts at cash machines.
These criminal endeavours took place in Seaford and Newhaven, but were unsuccessful.
Sussex police enquiries have revealed a photo of a man who attempted to use an ATM at Sainsbury’s in Newhaven.
Officers believe this man may have important information about the incident.
He is described as white, aged 20-25 and of slim build.
