A body of a man has been recovered from the sea at the Rampion wind farm this morning (Friday, 11).

HM Coastguard were alerted when the crew of a boat in the area spotted the man floating in the water.

A lifeboat from the RNLI was launched to retrieve the body, which was returned to shore just after 9am.

Police said the man has not yet been identified.

However, they have also said it’s not believed to be one of two men still missing after their fishing boat was sunk off Shoreham on Sunday morning (August, 6).
