Two security guards have been attacked and £75,000 stolen in a robbery at the Goodwood Revival motor festival.
Sussex Police said the cash was taken by several men wearing balaclavas and wielding weapons, including a crowbar and a machete.
Both guards had been transporting cash from ATM machines around the Goodwood motor circuit site in a van at the time.
One of the guards, a 50-year-old man from the West Midlands, sustained a minor shoulder injury.
The incident took place at around 12.30am on Saturday (September, 9).
Police said no firearms or vehicles were seen.
Detective Constable Ceri Spratt said;
“We are asking for any witnesses or for anyone else who may have any information about the robbery to contact us”
