Sussex Police are continuing with high visibility reassurance patrols, following Friday’s Tube bomb attack.

Residents can expect to see officers and armed officers at stations and other crowded places.

The Home Secretary, Amber Rudd, has announced the UK threat level from international terrorism has been reduced from critical to severe.

The decision was made following an assessment by the Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre (JTAC).

Sussex Police have urged the public to remain vigilant at all times.

Anyone who sees any suspicious behaviour or activity is asked to call the Anti-Terrorist Hotline 0800 789 321.

Nevertheless, in an emergency the public should always call 999.
