A man from Eastbourne’s been airlifted to hospital following an argument between a motorcyclist and a pedestrian in the town.
Police were called to the junction between Terminus Road and Grand Parade shortly before 11am on Sunday morning (October, 29) following reports the 42-year-old pedestrian was standing in the middle of a road crossing.
According to police, an argument started between the man and a motorcyclist and a fight then broke out.
The pedestrian was then air-lifted to hospital with reportedly serious, but not life-threatening head injuries.
A 54-year-old man from Eastbourne has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, and has been released under investigation.
