Police have arrested four teenagers in connection with an assault on two 19-year-old men in Burgess Hill.

The men were attacked by a group of people in Church Walk at around 10.30pm last Wednesday night (January, 3).

The victims were left with minor injuries, while one had their mobile phone, wallet and watch stolen.

Of the boys, two aged 15 and 16, both from Haywards Heath were arrested on suspicion of robbery.

A 16-year-old boy from Chichester was also arrested on suspicion of robbery.

A 14-year-old boy also from Haywards Heath was arrested on suspicion of robbery and two counts of assault on a person, thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm.

All four have been released under investigation.
