Police have arrested three teenagers on suspicion of drugs offences following an operation in the Lewes and Wealden districts, aimed at disrupting drug supplies to school students.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested in Polegate, while a 17-year-old boy and 18-year-old man were arrested in Seaford on Thursday (February, 15) as part of Operation Reap.
Officers said illicit drugs and several thousands of pounds in cash were also seized during the operation.
PC Rachel Bourne said:
“We’re working in conjunction with prevention enforcement teams and local schools to gain intelligence regarding the supply of drugs.”
All three people arrested have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
