A man has been taken to hospital seriously injured after being stabbed in Durrington.
Police received a report at 8pm on Tuesday (February, 20) that a 39-year-old local man had a number of stab wounds to his body in Carisbrooke Drive.
Officers said he was taken to Worthing Hospital, and was then transferred to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, where he was initially assessed as being in a serious, but not life-threatening condition.
An investigation is underway into the attack, which police said is not believed to have been random.
