A man from Shoreham has been taken to hospital with a head injury following a reported driving dispute in Hove.
The 28-year-old victim had got out of his Green Citroen on the A259 Kingsway following the reported dispute around 8.20pm on March 2.
Police said while he was standing in the road, a car is reported to have driven forward at the man, which then collided with him.
The victim was then left with a head injury, an ankle injury, and cuts to his face and wrist.
Officers said he was treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, and has since been discharged, but is still receiving treatment for his head injury.
Detective Constable Simon Rideout said:
“We are especially interested in anyone who may have seen the vehicles immediately before the assault, and anyone who may have ‘dashcam’ footage for that time and location.”
