A teenager has been arrested after three teenage boys were attacked in Littlehampton, of which two were stabbed.
A 17-year-old boy was initially believed to have life-threatening injuries, while a 16-year-old boy has serious injuries.
Both were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton where they remain in a stable condition, following the incident in Terminus Road around 2.45pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, 28).
A 16-year-old boy was also left with minor injuries, but police said he is not thought to have been stabbed.
The suspect, a 16-year-old boy, has been arrested on suspicion of three counts of grievous bodily harm with intent.
He remains in custody at this time.
Sussex Police are carrying out increased patrols while the investigation continues, and are appealing for anyone with mobile phone or CCTV footage of the incident to come forward.
