Police in Brighton are searching for the person responsible for setting fire to a car in the city earlier this month.
The car was set on fire while parked in Uckfield Close in the Whitehawk area of Brighton.
The vehicle owner saw someone acting suspiciously near her car, on the evening of May 13.
The owner shouted out to the man to leave her blue Hyundai Tucson alone.
He left the area, but she saw a dark colour vehicle drive slowly past.
A short time later she was alerted by a neighbour that her car was on fire.
It is believed the car was deliberately set on fire between 10.05pm and 10.15pm.
PC Mark Butcher said:
“We are keen to hear from anyone else who might have seen anything suspicious in that area and might be able to help.”
Sussex police are treating the incident as arson.
