Fire damages cars and houses following arson attack in Crawley

Police are investigating an incident in which two cars were burnt out, and two houses damaged in Crawley.

A car was initially set alight at about 9.30pm on Friday (September, 28) in Tintern Road.

The fire spread to a car next to it and to the windows and guttering of two houses.

Nobody in the houses was hurt and the cars were parked and unoccupied.

Police investigators said the initial fire was caused deliberately.
