Two men sought in connection with Horsham fish and chip shop assault

Police have released CCTV of two men they would like to identify after a Horsham chip shop owner was assaulted.

The suspects went into Oceans Fish Bar in New Street on Bonfire Night (November, 5) at 7.20pm.

They got into an argument over paying for sachets of ketchup, becoming increasingly abusive.

Staff asked them to leave but they soon came back, getting the owner into a headlock and punched him in the face.

They ran off towards Livingston Road.

PC Bryony McIndoe said:

“This was an unprovoked attack, which left the victim with severe bruising to his face.

“We would like to hear from anyone who recognises these suspects or has any information about them.”

The first man was described as white, in his 20’s, of a larger build, with blonde curly hair and wearing a blue shirt and navy coat.

The second man was described as white, skinny, with a spotty complexion and wearing a grey hoodie with a red logo and black coat.

Anyone with any information is asked to report it online here or call 101, quoting serial 1234 of 05/11.
