Sussex Police are searching for witnesses after a ten-year-old boy was injured in a hit and run in Littlehampton.
The boy was knocked to the ground after being hit by a car in Clun Road at around 2.30pm last Friday (July 22). The car failed to stop. He had been walking his bicycle across the road from Egan Way towards Wickbourne stores when he was hit. A Sussex Police spokesperson said the car is believed to be a grey Nissan Qashqai or similar. It continued south-east along Clun Road towards Wick Farm Road. The ten-year-old received cuts and bruises and was treated at Worthing Hospital.
