A man has been arrested on suspicion of trespassing on the tracks at Brighton Railway Station.

Officers were called following the reports at quarter past 6 this morning (March 27).

The man has been taken into custody.

Southern Rail has warned some services are subject to delays or cancellations.

However, the rail operator say all lines at Brighton have re-opened.

The rail operator say they strongly advise travelling later if possible.


Southern Rail say disruption is expected until two o’clock this afternoon (27 March).

Meanwhile, passengers are asked to allow extra time for journeys and to consider alternative routes.
