Two people have been seriously injured following a crash on the A259 Chichester Road, at Colworth last night (October, 9).
A black Nissan Leaf collided with a red Skoda Citigo which was travelling in the opposite direction.
The Skoda was forced into a ditch, where as the Nissan remained on the road at around 10.06pm.
The Skoda driver was a 78-year-old woman from Bognor who sustained serious leg, pelvic and chest injuries.
She was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
The Nissan driver was a 41-year-old man from Chichester who sustained serious chest injuries.
He was taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester for treatment.
Police are asking anyone who saw what happened, or anyone with dash cam footage, to report it online here or phone 101, quoting Operation Abacus.
