Police are not ruling out the possibility of three incidents, involving a similar looking car in Brighton, to be linked.

At 5.13am this morning (Friday, 12), officers were alerted to reports of a black Fiat 500 car crashing into a house in Southover Street.

Firefighters attended to check the structure of the property, which sustained a crack in its wall.

The driver, thought to be a man, drove off with another man and a woman in the car.

Nine minutes later at 5.22am, a black Nissan Micra crashed into a parked Toyota Prius in Richmond Street.

The driver fled on foot in the direction of Tarner Road.

He was described to be in his late teens or early 20s, of slim build, 5’9″ and dressed in black.

Officers said given the similarity in size and colour of the cars, they are not ruling out the chance these incidents may be linked.

A black Nissan Micra was reported to be stolen from Russell Road at 4am this morning.

Anyone with any information is asked to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 47190058083.
