Two teenagers have been arrested following an assault in Uckfield.

Police have arrested two teenage boys in connection with an assault on a man in Uckfield town centre.

The 26-year-old man was attacked by a group of youths on Sunday (May, 12).

Following the incident, two boys, aged 14 and 15 from Crowborough, were arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm (GBH).

Officers said both were questioned and later released on conditional bail.

Meanwhile, police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to come forward, especially anyone who may have mobile phone or dash-cam images of the incident.
