Pedestrian airlifted to hospital following collision with tipper truck

Number of people injured following Crawley bus collision

A pedestrian has been airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries following a collision with a tipper truck in Crowborough.

Emergency services were called to the A26 around 3.40pm on Thursday (May, 16).

The pedestrian, a 24-year-old local man, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

Police said the 32-year-old driver of the Volvo tipper truck was uninjured.
