Women wanted in connection with dog attack on sheep

Police want to talk to two women in connection with a dog attack.

Police are looking to identify two women (pictured) in connection with a dog attack on several sheep in Ashdown Forest.

Officers said three sheep were injured during the incident, which happened around 2pm on Wednesday, May 1.

The incident took place on forest land at the back of the Cats Protection National Cat Adoption Centre in Chelwood Gate.

According to police, the women pictured were in possession of two large black and white bullmastiff/staffy type dogs.

Anyone with information, or who recognises the two women pictured, is asked to report it online, or call 101, quoting reference number 1258 of 04/05.
