A woman has died following a collision near Billingshurst.

A woman has died following a crash in Sussex where a car struck concrete bollards.

The victim was one of three occupants in the car, which left the road at the junction of the A29 Stane Street and Adversane Lane, near the Blacksmith’s Arms pub, south of Billingshurst.

Police have now arrested two men on suspicion of driving offences following the incident around 10.40 on Friday (May, 24).

Officers said the suspects, a 57-year-old man from Pulborough and a 54-year-old man from Coldwaltham, have been bailed until June 21.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or who has dash-cam footage of the Fiesta during or just prior to the crash.
