The Worthing Observational Wheel (WOW) is now open to the public.
Worthing Borough Council said it is the largest observation wheel on the Sussex coast, standing at 46 metres tall.
According to officials, the WOW is the equivalent height to nine double decker buses, with views over the seaside town and the Downs.
The council entered into a lease arrangement with de Koning Leisure Ltd for the attraction to be up for summer and dismantled during the winter.
It was the same company who ran the Steyne Gardens wheel last year, which attracted 10,000 visitors a month, according to the authority.
Worthing Borough Council said they hope the WOW will improve the town’s coast for visitors and residents alike in the years to come.
To ride the wheel, a family ticket costs £20, or £10 for one adult and £5 for one child.
