Boy flown to London with potentially life-threatening injuries after being struck by car in Worthing

Police said a boy, believed to be seven-years-old, has been taken to London following a collision with a car in Salvington Road, Durrington at around 4.12pm this afternoon (November, 7).

It’s reported a silver Ford Focus was in collision with the boy, who sustained potentially life-threatening injuries.

Police said he has been taken to St George’s Hospital in London for treatment.

Part of the road will most likely remain closed for some time as emergency services remain at the scene.
