Man reportedly has gun pointed at him at Eastbourne home

Police officers and a helicopter were called to Eastbourne last night (November, 10) following reports that a man, who opened his front door to a stranger, subsequently had a gun pointed in his direction.

The man allegedly heard a knock at the door in Tintern Close, Eastbourne, at around 10.20pm and answered it to an unknown man.

Police said a second man then appeared from the side of the property armed with a gun and pointed it in the occupant’s direction.

The occupant reportedly shut the door immediately and called the police.

Officers said no threats were made.

Police, with the help of the National Police Air Service helicopter, searched the area but did not manage to locate the suspects.

They are both described as white, in their mid-20s, about 5’5”, of skinny build and dressed all in black.
