Police have arrested two people in connection with a group attack on two teenage boys in Hailsham yesterday (November, 19).
Officers said the 16-year-old and 17-year-old boy were with their friends when they were approached by a group of older men and women in Halley Park on the Town Farm estate at around 8pm.
The boys were attacked by the the group with a knife, and a baseball bat, according to the force.
The younger boy suffered two minor stab wounds, and the older boy sustained a head injury.
Both were taken to hospital, but neither were deemed to have suffered life-threatening or life-changing injuries, police said.
A 27-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, both from Hailsham, were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.
Both have been released under investigation.
