Man charged with two counts of attempted murder following incident in St Leonards

Hastings old town.

A man’s due in court later this month, charged with two counts of attempted murder, following an incident in St Leonards.

Police said Ian Bryan, of St Margaret’s Road, St Leonards, has been charged with the attempted murder of a 17-year-old boy and a 32-year-old man at an address in the same road on Wednesday, April 22.

A 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the incident, but has now been discharged.

Officers said Mr Bryan, 58, appeared before Brighton magistrates last Wednesday (April, 29).

He has been remanded in custody and is next due to appear at Lewes Crown Court on May 27.
