A teenage boy and man have been arrested in connection with a reported break-in at Amberley Castle early on Friday (May, 8).
Police said they were called to the castle in the early hours after two people were spotted breaking in.
Officers carried out an area search using thermal imagery and two suspects were detected on the castle roof.
Along with the assistance of firefighters, the pair were brought down safely.
A 16-year-old boy and a 28-year-old man, both from Amberley, were both arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling with intent to steal, and criminal damaged.
Police said the pair have been released under investigation.
