Man left with bleed on the brain and fractured eye socket after being attacked in Worthing robbery

A man has been left seriously injured, with a bleed on the brain and a fractured eye socket, after he was robbed and attacked by a group of youths in Worthing.

Police said the victim was approached by a group of around seven young people in the Rotary Recreational Ground at around 12.40am on Friday (May, 15).

Officers said he was pushed to the ground and kicked in the head and body before his personal belongings were stolen.

He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, according to the force, including a bleed on the brain and a fractured eye socket.

Officers conducted an area search but said the suspects were not located.
