Woman in her 60s left seriously injured after being struck by car in Brighton

A woman in her late 60s has been taken to hospital seriously injured after she was struck by a car in Brighton this afternoon (Thursday, 21).

Police said emergency services were called to the scene at the Seven Dials roundabout just before 3.15pm.

The woman, in her late 60s, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with serious injuries, according to the force.

Road closures are expected to continue in the area this evening.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting Operation Greencourt.
