Cyclist left with fractured skull following collision in St Leonards

A cyclist has been left with a fractured skull following a collision in St Leonards yesterday afternoon (Thursday, 21).

Police said the 36-year-old man was cycling in Old Church Road when the incident took place shortly before 3pm.

Officers said he was taken to the Conquest Hospital in the town with serious head injuries, but was later transferred to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

Police are now looking for witnesses to try and find out what happened.
