Hove Named Best Professional Cricket Ground On County Circuit

Sussex Cricket Club's home venue, the 1st Central County Ground, has been ranked as the number one place to watch cricket among the 18 professional counties on the circuit in a poll run by the Daily Mail.

The article saw each of the counties ranked based on their location, food and beverage offerings and match day atmosphere.

The ranking comes as welcome news to the club after a number of key investments into infrastructure, including the recent opening of its very own Sixes Social Cricket Bar and the recent announcement that Aramark has taken over as the new catering provider at Hove. 

Speaking on the home of Sussex Cricket, Booth said:

"When the sun is out, as it was on Friday for the visit of Somerset, there is no place like Hove.

"Pick up a coffee at Brighton station, wander along the sea front, immerse yourself in a world of seagulls, deckchairs and ice creams, and enjoy a post-stumps beer on the beach."
