Craft In Focus has always been at the forefront of promoting the best of the UK’s
designer makers and their high quality contemporary events have been placed
above all other shows of their kind by The Independent.
Organiser Rob Chapman says, “We are delighted to be returning to the beautiful
setting of Hever Castle which makes an ideal backdrop for an event of this calibre.
Our event is a high quality contemporary craft fair and exhibitors and visitors
appreciate the fact that we keep our standards high and have stuck with our
principles of only allowing work made by the exhibitor to be presented with no bought
in, mass-produced or imported work. This has really set us apart from many other
craft fairs.”

The exhibitors at this event have been selected from amongst the very best and
come from throughout the UK. All exhibitors have designed and made the work that
they display and have been selected for their individuality and innovation in
contemporary design, as well as outstanding technical ability. The UK has a wealth
of individual and talented professional designer makers and artists who produce
wonderful original items that simply cannot be found amongst the mass-produced
and imported goods on the high street. It’s the ideal place to find a special gift or to
treat yourself to something different!
The event will be held within the award-winning Hever Castle Gardens set in 125
acres of glorious grounds with the backdrop of the historic castle – the childhood
home of Anne Boleyn. A visit will make an interesting day out for everyone as it
includes demonstrations which will give visitors an insight into the creative
processes. Children can enjoy the fabulous adventure playground while visitors of all
ages can enjoy the challenge of finding their way through the Water Maze and the
100 year old Yew Maze. In May the gardens include stunning displays of wisteria,
azaleas and rhododendrons.

Admission to the garden also gives admission to the craft fair and reduced priced
tickets can be purchased online in advance using discount code CRAFT25 (must be
booked by 9 May).
To be in with a chance of winning, just enter our random draw before the competition closes on Monday May 5 - best of luck!
