For a pitcher-perfect time and a brew-tiful atmosphere, head to Eastbourne’s annual three-day long Beer and Cider by the Sea festival from 16 – 18 May.
The annual extravaganza of real ales, craft beers and sensational ciders returns with a packed programme of live music, ranging from fan-favourite tribute act Fat Freddie & The Queens to folk, country, soul and disco.
It’s the perfect way to kick start your summer with great live music, a stunning location on Eastbourne’s fabulous seafront Western Lawns and an opportunity for some al fresco relaxation over a pint or two.
Beer and cider fans can look forward to more than 100 real ales, craft beers, cask ciders and perries on offer, with the majority showcasing Sussex producers.
An array of gins, Pimm’s, Prosecco, wines and cocktails will also be on offer, alongside tasty food stalls and pop-up retailers.
Supported by CAMRA, their members will be on hand at each session to guide visitors through the carefully selected tipples available, from quirky micro-breweries to established names, with some specially brewed for the occasion.
Festival goers will also have a choice of tempting food stalls offering a range of cuisines, from Tastes of the Mediterranean and Khao’s Thai to Belle Buono Pizza and Big Kahuna Burgers.
Children are welcome to attend (afternoon sessions only), with free child tickets available for the final Sunday afternoon session.
Sessions open from 5pm – 10pm on Friday, 11am – 4pm and 5pm – 10pm on Saturday and 12pm – 5pm on Sunday.
