We've got SIX family tickets to offer to this brilliant annual event with fun for all the family!
Taking place 18-20 April, The Garden Show at Firle Place is back this April for its 17th year, offering the perfect opportunity to plan and enhance your garden and home. With over 170 stalls including specialist growers, you’ll find guidance on selecting the right plants and where to place them.
Explore a diverse range of garden goods, artisan designs, homeware, garden furniture, fashion accessories, and delicious country foods. The show proudly supports local small businesses, with many stalls from the surrounding area. The Studio Shops and Weald Craft Tent will showcase a variety of artisan craft products and demonstrations.

In addition to shopping, the show features exciting attractions. Gardening expert Paul Slater will be available daily to address plant-related questions and will give a talk daily on ‘Small Space. Big Impact!’ showing how compact gardens can thrive. On Saturday, entomologist Dr. Ian Bedford will run a ‘Pest Clinic’ to identify any bug samples you bring and offer eco-friendly solutions for your garden plus Ian will be giving a talk on ‘Gardens for Nature’.
Ben Cross from Crosslands Nursery will be back to share insights on the ‘British Cut Flower Industry’ and promote the message that ‘British Flowers Rock’! We are delighted to welcome GD Harper a newcome to the show who will be giving at talk on Friday introducing his fascinating and informative historical novel ‘ The Maids of Biddenden’. Plus we look forward to hearing from The People’s Park for Nature who will be giving a talk daily at 2.30pm about ‘How to use your garden to increase biodiversity across the Ouse Valley’.

Visitors can enjoy a free-flow tour of the stunning Firle Place, explore the parkland, and visit the charming St. Peter’s Church, home to an impressive collection of tapestry kneelers crafted by local residents.
Family-friendly activities abound, including ‘The Giant Tombola’ with fantastic prizes donated by exhibitors, all benefiting the Restoration Fund for Firle, Glynde, and Bedingham ancient churches. Enjoy ongoing artisan demonstrations and workshops on glass fusing and blacksmithing. A Jazz Trio will serenade guests in the gardens, while Huxley Birds of Prey will captivate audiences with their aerial displays. Sunday will feature performances by the Mish Mash Morris Dancers and The South Downs Folk Singers.
Younger visitors can have fun with Crazee Hazee, the show’s jester, who will teach circus juggling skills and host daily Punch & Judy shows. Plus, there will be carnival fun with Jason Winters Amusements, toddler rides, and bouncy activities.

And there’s even more to discover! If you can’t attend this show, don’t miss the next events at Broadlands, Romsey from 6-8 June, and Rookesbury Park from 25-27 July. It promises to be a fantastic day out for the entire family. Life is indeed wonderful in your garden!
