A relatively peaceful Bank Holiday weekend is on the way for rail travellers in Sussex.
Unlike many other holidays, track owner Network Rail said relatively little maintenance would take place between 29 and 31 August this year.
The majority of work will be on the Oxted Viaduct, which carries tracks over the A25 and River Eden.
The significance of the Surrey town is that the tracks south of Oxted divide, to provide a rail service to East Grinstead (West Sussex) and Crowborough (East Sussex).
Replacement buses will operate on the services to East Grinstead, and to Uckfield via Crowborough, all weekend.
One other closure will take place, to allow work on the line between Crawley's Three Bridges Station and Horsham.
This work, and a replacement bus service, is scheduled for Bank Holiday Monday only.
