Police searching for a missing man from Eastbourne have found a body.
As previously reported by More Radio, 48-year-old Stuart Cooper was reported missing from Eastbourne on Sunday morning (June 14), and his BMW was found near the Wych Cross area of Ashdown Forest.
In a statement released this morning (Thursday), a Sussex Police spokesperson said:
"Formal identification has yet to take place, but a body found in Ashdown Forest on Wednesday (June 17) is sadly believed to be that of Stuart Cooper.
"His next of kin have been informed and the matter has been passed to the coroner's office."
