Businesses in Brighton and Hove are being urged to apply for a discretionary grant - as the deadline for coronavirus relief draws closer.
If you are a small business, there is limited time to apply for a discretionary grant as applications close today (Friday, June 12).
As of Monday (June 8), 170 small businesses had applied for a grant in less than a week.
The fund is available to small businesses in the city affected by the Covid-19 pandemic who have not been able to access other support.
The grants do not have to be paid back and a range of small businesses in the city can apply.
There is a total fund of £3.7 million and three levels of grants:
- £25,000
- £10,000
- Any amounts under £10,000
Businesses in the events, culture, creative, retail, and leisure sectors can apply subject to conditions.
Applications are assessed by an independent advisory panel which includes representatives from business organisations including the Local Economic Partnership, Federation of Small Businesses and the University of Brighton.
If you'd like to find more information or find out how to apply for a grant, you can find the details you need on the council's website.
