Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with an armed robbery at a 24-hour convenience store in central Brighton, and with an incident elsewhere in the city last year.
It's after officers attended the "Three-2-Four" shop on the city's Western Road close to 4.30am on May 29.
They'd received reports that a man had entered the store with a knife, and demanded money.
Due before Brighton Magistrates today was Simon May, a 35-year-old unemployed man of Oriental Place in Brighton.
Police said he's been charged with robbery and with possession of an offence weapon in public.
He's also due to face another charge of robbery in connection with an incident at the Co-Op in Old London Road, Brighton, on March 1, 2019.
