People in East Sussex are being warned to take care when using candles after a blaze in Eastbourne on Saturday (February 27).
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said three engines were called to a flat in Seaside, at around 7.40pm.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera.
Everyone was accounted for and there were no reports of any injuries.
