Car Crashes Through Window Of Stone Cross Tesco

A car has crashed through the window of a Tesco store in East Sussex.

Fire crews were on scene at the Stone Cross shop earlier this afternoon (Thursday), where the silver Citroen smashed through glass windows.

It's not known whether any occupants have been injured.

An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said:

"We were called at 12.18 to reports of a road traffic collision at a supermarket in Stone Cross.

"Crews made the scene safe and handed the incident over to police and the store management team."
