CCTV Released After Thefts At Two Worthing Co-Op Stores

Police are looking to identify the man pictured in connection with two thefts in Worthing last month.

The first occasion involved a man entering the Co-Op in Rowlands Road on March 5, at around 10.20am.

He asked for around £30 worth of cigarettes, picked them up off the county and quickly left without paying, according to police.

At around 10.42am on that same day a man entered the Co-Op in Tarring Road and again requested tobacco products, worth around £70.

Again, he took the items and left the store without paying.

Officers said the suspect is described as white, aged 30-40, about 5’7”, with short black hair.

He had a visible tattoo above his left eye and was not wearing a mask on either occasion.

Anyone who recognises this man is asked to report it online or call 101, quoting crime reference number 47210037472.
