The Big Bathe event will take place at West Wittering Beach once again on September 10 in aid of Bowel Cancer UK and St Wilfred's Hospice.
The event was held for the first time last year, in memory of Victoria Hulme-Hall, 33, who lost her battle with the disease in September 2022, shortly after the first Big Bathe that she organised and four weeks after her wedding day.
Her plea before she died was to raise as much awareness of the disease as possible and her family and friends are now arranging the second Big Bathe in her honour.
Having raised over £68,000 with 106 swimmers in its inaugural year, organisers have set a £10,000 target on the JustGiving page, with the aim of splitting the proceeds between Bowel Cancer UK and St Wifrid’s Hospice, who looked after Victoria "so well" in her final days.
Tickets to the Big Bathe cost £40-45.
