A man has been arrested and police have issued a £10,000 fine to the organiser of a Halloween Party in Brighton on Saturday.
Officers said they were called to reports of a party involving more than 100 people at a residential address in Norwich Drive, at around 11.55pm.
Police attempted to engage with the people present and encourage them to adhere to Covid regulations, but officers were met with violence and abuse.
A man has been arrested after one sergeant was reportedly assaulted.
The organiser of the event has been issued with a £10,000 fine in accordance with the government’s Covid regulations.
