Here's the latest update on coronavirus figures for Sussex, including the total number of cases, hospital deaths and deaths outside hospitals recorded.

As of Wednesday (December 23), the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases by Upper Tier Local Authority is:

Brighton and Hove: 5,259 - up 328 since last Wednesday
East Sussex: 10,373 - up 1,421 since last Wednesday
West Sussex: 12,583 - up 934 since last Wednesday

Sussex Total:  28,215 - up 2,683 since last Wednesday
