Police: appeal to bystanders after April collision

Police investigating a collision in Birdham said tonight they're trying to trace witnesses from the scene of an incident that occurred nearly three months ago.

It involved a crash between two cars on the evening of April 14.

Officers were called to the junction of the A286 and A259 Sidlesham Lane around 8.45pm that night, to reports of a collision between a black Peugeot and a black Hyundai.

A number of people are known to have stopped and helped at the scene, and police are urging them to get in touch to help with the investigation.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 1366 of 23/04.
